Ascension
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Ascension is an escape room puzzle game where the player wakes up in their bunker and finds a letter notifying them that the outside world may be safe again. The player must solve puzzles and escape the bunker to find out themselves.

Music for Ascension was created in Logic Pro X. A combination of synths and orchestral instruments were used to make the ominous, claustrophobic, and darks tones of the game. Using Alchemy within Logic was great for manipulating sounds to create the perfect instruments. For the beginning of the game, dark synths are used as the prominent instrument. As the game continues, lighter instruments like cello and choral voice were used to convey escaping the bunker.
The sound design for this game was created using Logic Pro X. A combination of foley and collecting sound samples from online were used to create the sound design.
FMOD was used to implement the sound design and music within the game.
